Verified means we have checked who runs the company and reviewed its documents this year: business registration, facility address, certificates and the people we deal with. It is paid, renewed every 12 months, and shown with a Verified badge.

Verified never buys a better evidence level or a higher position. Listings are ranked by the same evidence rubric whether or not a maker pays.

What the review checks

The company is registered and operating, and the person applying works there (company-domain email, call or video check)
Facility address matches business records and any certification registry
Certificates you send are current and match the facility (we check issuers' registries where they exist)
FDA recall and warning-letter history, shown on your profile whatever it says

Verified badge on your profile and on this page, plus the Verified version of the website badge
Owner portal to send updates; we review and publish them, usually within a few days
$99 for 12 months. If the review doesn't pass, we refund in full
