FDA food-facility registration is a baseline legal requirement, not a quality award — and it is widely misunderstood. This page lists makers with registered facilities and explains exactly what that does and does not tell you.

FDA registration is not a certification. The FDA does not approve supplement products or facilities, and registration alone does not imply any inspection took place.
Dietary supplement facilities must register with the FDA and renew every two years. Registration lets the FDA identify a facility in the event of a recall or complaint.
Verify in the FDA Food Facility Registration Module. Two honest caveats: the registry is public, so anyone can look you up, and registration says nothing about GMP compliance, product quality, or whether the FDA has ever inspected the plant. Treat it as a minimum filter, never as a differentiator.
These listings trace to an independent registry entry or a certificate published on the maker's own site. How we grade evidence.
A claim is not a disqualifier — registries are hard to search and legal names rarely match exactly. But it is the gap you should close first. Send proof links and the listing upgrades.
